Crime roundup for Gloucester

The rear door of a house in Kingsholm Square was kicked open during the night of 21st and 22nd November.   It is not believed the house was entered and nothing has been stolen. The locks to the side gate giving access to the rear door had been removed.

A ladies pink and orange Carrera mountain bike, a set of golf clubs and golf trolley were stolen from a garage in Stonechat Avenue in Abbeydale sometime between 15th and 21st November.

A black coloured Trek “Slash” mountain bike was stolen from a garage in Bowley Road in Linden between 1am and 7am on 21st November.

Two catalytic converters were stolen off vehicles parked in Granville Street in Linden at around 8.20pm on 22nd November.  A possible offender was described as a 6 foot tall white male wearing a grey hoodie and carrying a Nike backpack.  Did you see this person if so please contact the police.

A silver coloured Kia Ceed car was stolen from Tesco car park in Quedgelely between 9.45am and 10.45am on 25th November.

Also please be aware that 5 motorcycles have been stolen from the following areas since 24th November.  Thefts took place in Burford Mews and Harbury Mews in the Barton area, from a car park at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and from Hare Lane in the city.

Please ensure that motorcycles are protected with suitable and robust  padlocks and chains and are attached to a fixed object as a lamppost barrier or column

Please remember to lock your vehicle at all times even if you only leave if for a few minutes and keeping valuable items even in a locked vehicle is not a good idea.  These are just the situations opportunist thieves are looking for!
