Burglary Update for Gloucester

Alert message sent 05/11/2021 17:19:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

A garage was entered at a house in Barnwood Road, near the junction with Eastern Avenue, between 1pm on 30th October and 7am the following morning.  The garage door was damaged and tools stolen from inside.

There was an attempt to force entry to a flat in London Road, close to the junction with Barnwood Road, at around 5pm on 29th October. An attempt was made to force a rear window.

Two males, wearing some form of face mask, were seen to get out of a light coloured saloon car and approach a house in Bradley Close in Longlevens at about 6.15pm on 4th November.  When they realised the house was occupied they returned to the car which then drove off.  They were clearly seen to be checking out other houses in the Close.

Possibly connected with this suspicious incident is a burglary in Innsworth Lane near the junction with Bullfinch Way in Innsworth.  The rear door of a house was forced open with some sort of tool, and also the glazed panel in the door was smashed. This occurred between 4.45 and 6.55pm on 4th November.  A silver coloured saloon car is thought to be involved.  We have no detail on any stolen property but the house had been searched.
