Snowshill Burglary

Alert message sent 24/09/2021 16:03:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

The occupants of a house in Snowshill were disturbed a noise at around 2.30am on 18th September.  When they investigated they found a rear window and the front door open.  Clearly the thieves had entered the house though the window and then left in a hurry through the front door when  they realised their presence had been noticed.  A vehicle was heard to drive off from somewhere nearby.  It is believed the thieves were intending to steal the occupants vehicle.

Thieves seem to know the obvious places to look for car keys in your home, so it is a great idea to hide the keys in a safe place or better still keep them with you in the bedroom at night!
