Thefts from Motor Vehicles up to 2nd July

Shelley Avenue, overnight 25th 26th June an insecure car on a driveway was entered and searched. Nothing reported stolen at this time. Inc. 199 26-06-2021 St Marks

Burton Street, overnight 28th 29th June driver’s side ¼ light smashed on a van. Window wound down, the offender lent in with dash cam stolen from shelf under steering column. Inc. 52 29-06-2021 Town Centre

Clarence Square, Clarence Court Hotel car park, overnight of the 28th 29th June a car was entered via unknown means and searched through. Stolen were sun glasses, a lamp and clothing. Inc. 124 29-06-2021 Pittville/St Pauls

Gratton Road, overnight 29th 30th June, insecure car entered and searched through. Stolen were a stereo unit, sunglasses and a cup holder. Inc. 165 30-06-2021 Tivoli

Mandarin Way, reported at 12md on 29th June that a car on the road had been entered via unknown means with a box of alcohol bottles stolen from the boot area. The glove box was also searched through. Inc. 398 30-06-2021 Swindon Village

Priory Walk, between 6pm 28th June & 6pm 30th June a car on the road side was entered via unknown means. Stolen from the boot area was a blue rucksack containing a quantity of cameras & photographic equipment. Inc. 416 30-06-2021 Fairview

Oxford Passage, overnight 30th June 1st July a Vito van was attacked by forcing the rear doors with a screwdriver or similar instrument, a full set of golfs clubs in a grey and black golf bag were stolen. Inc. 93 01-07-2021 Town centre.

Parabola Road, outside Hotel Du Vin, overnight of the 30th June & 1st July a car on the roadside entered via unknown means with a holdall and two child’s pull along cases, one pink and one blue all of which contained clothing being stolen. Inc. 272 01-07-2021 Lansdown

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually locked.
Do not leave valuable property in unattended, particularly bank and credit cards which can be used for up to £45 per transaction with no further security checks.
