Suspicious Activity in Severn Road

Officers have been made aware of two suspicious incidents in the Severn Road area.

On 23/06/2021 at approx. 0030hrs an unknown person has attempted to open both the front and rear doors of a property in Severn Road, Stonehouse. Incident Number - GC-20210623-0018

A further report at approx. 1200hrs an unknown male approached the caller and stated he was there to take a meter reading. He began to ask probing questions to the caller before leaving shortly after in a white ford van. The callers electricity provider confirmed there had been nobody allocated to do those checks.
The male is described as in late 40s, white, Big Build, 5ft 10, clean shaven. White T shirt, Beige Chinos, with no ID tags. Incident number GC-20210623-0255

Police request the public to be vigilant and remember to secure your property. Police will be doing active patrols in the local area. If you have any further information or CCTV in relation to these incidents please report this via 101 and state the incident numbers above.
