Burglary Report up to 12th May

Grosvenor Street, between 7.15am & 8.30am 8th May a ground floor flat was entered via an insecure front door, then an internal door was forced and a search made of the premises. Stolen were a bank card, medication and cans of alcohol. Inc. 140 0-05-2021 Town Centre

Priors Road, Bush Court – between 7pm 8th & 11.30am 9th May attempt made to enter flat by attacking rear door with an implement similar to a crow bar, causing damage. No entry gained. Inc. 291 09-05-2021 Whaddon

Priors Road near to Bouncers Lane between 2pm 7th May & 9am 8th May a shed at the rear of the block was entered by forcing the door open. Stolen was a Gents Trek Allant bike in black with silver mudguards Inc. 158 08-05-2021 Whaddon

Lloyd Close, overnight of 8th 9th May an insecure house which was basically empty was entered and searched through. Keys to the property which had been left inside were stolen. A male has been arrested for this and other offences and has been remanded to prison as he was wanted on recall. Further enqs continuing. Inc. 141 09-05-2021 Hestersway.

Priors Road, near to Imjin road at 12.36pm 10th May a male and a female entered rear grounds of property and attempted to open the rear door. They were challenged and ran off. Desc: white male – dark scruffy hair, 5’ 6” wearing chequered lumber jack jacket, black trousers brown shoes with a black backpack; white female – 5’ 4” brunette hair in a bun, mid to late 30’s, wearing a maroon long sleeved top, pattern skirt, black boots. Inc. 222 10-05-2021 Prestbury

Always lock your doors and window when you leave your house, and even if you are working in the garden or upstairs.  Cycles kept in sheds and garages must be subject to secondary security such as a heavy duty change bolted through to the frame of the building or into a ground anchor.
