Crime Update to 8th April


Cranwell Close, between 29th March & 1st April unknown offenders have smashed a rear window to a detached garage, reached through and unlocked the door. Premises searched with power and hand tools and bottled alcohol being stolen. Inc. 267 01-04-2021 Matson

Langley Road, reported at 3.10am 7th April that three men were trying to gain entry to the premises via an insecure window. The occupant resisted and was assaulted by one of the offenders. An attempt was made to take the family dog which turned aggressive and was released. A lap top and the keys to a car on the driveway were taken but the vehicle was not. Inc. 26 07-04-2021 Matson

Atlas Court, recorded on CCTV that at 9.20pm on 6th April of two persons bending up the corner of an up & over door to gain entry to a garage. Stolen from inside was a petrol power washer and a powered chop saw. Inc. 67 07-04-2021 Hempstead

Newhaven Road, B&M car park, between 2pm & 2.15pm 1st April a black Mitsubishi car was attacked with the front passenger window being smashed with a hand bag and contents being stolen from the front passenger foot well. Inc 281 01-04-2021 Quedgeley

Always lock all windows and doors when you leave your house or retire to bed.
Do not leave keys in door and window locks close to glass which if smashed allows the keys to be used to unlock them.
Do not leave valuable property in unattended vehicles such as handbags and wallets containing bank cards which can be used with no further security checks
