Burglaries

 
Overnight 29th 30th July a garage of a flat at The Park was entered by forcing the door open. Stolen from inside was a Geneis Adventure Road bike in light blue. The machine had two bottle cages  and paddle brakes as well as normal brake handles. Inc. 225 30-07-2020 Tivoli
 
Between 3pm & 9pm 30th July a house in Awre Walk was entered via the rear patio doors via unknown means. A lap top in the kitchen area was tapered with – 5 attempts were made to access it, unsuccessfully. Nothing reported stolen. Inc. 72 31-07-2020 Charlton Kings
 
Reported at 12.57pm 31st July that a male had been seen breaking into a house in Albion Place. Officers attended the address and arrested a male found upon the premises which had been entered by kicking the front door. An excellent result of a call made at the time of the incident. Between 4am & 4.30am on 31st July CCTV records 4 youth steal three cycles from an insecure garden shed of a house in Orchard Avenue. Stolen cycles were a Specialized bike; a Raleigh – teal in colour; and a mountain bike. Further enqs being made. Inc. 307 31-07-2020 St Marks
 
Overnight of the 31st July and 1st Aug, a cycle was stolen from the communal hall of flats in Lansdown Crescent, The cycle had been secured to the staircase bannister which had been broken allowing the cycle o be stolen together with the lock. Cycle stolen :- Specialized Stump Jumper in black, mountain bike. Inc. 312 01-08-2020 Lansdown.
 
 
Thefts of Cycles
 
Overnight of the 28th 29th July an insecure Trek Marlin 7 push bike in red with white writing was stolen from the rear garden of a house in Seacombe Road.

Between midnight on 24th July & 4.25pm 29th July a Saracen Urban Cross Hybrid bike in black and orange from a bike shed in Millbrook Street. Inc. 339 29-07-2020  St Marks.
 
Between 9.30am & 1pm on 30th July a Dawes Ladies hybrid bike in purple with a front basket was stolen from the rear of premises in The Promenade with access from Post Office Lane. Inc. 407 30-07-2020 Town Centre
 
Between midnight and 9am on 1st Aug.  2 insecure cycles were stolen from the rear garden of a flat in Oak Avenue. Stolen were a Trinx M136BG in blue and a Trek FX Hybrid bike in black with white stripes. Inc. 463 02-08-2020 Charlton Kings
 
Between 10pm & 11pm 2nd Aug an insecure Raleigh Capresse ladies bike in green was stolen from the driveway of a house in Griffiths Avenue. Inc. 231 03-08-2020 St Marks
 
Reported at 9.40pm 3rd Aug that a cycle had just been stolen from outside the newsagents in St Pauls Road whilst owner was in the shop. Stolen was a Carrera cycle in orange. Inc. 537 03-08-2020 St Pauls
 
Between 8pm 3rd & 1am 4th Aug a cycle was stolen from the cycle racks at The Brewery Centre, Henrietta Street by smashing off the combination lock. Stolen was a Carrera Road bike in black with yellow lines. Inc. 118 04-11-2020 Town centre.
 
Do not leave cycles unattended without proper security such as a heavy duty chain secured to street furniture or if in a shed to the frame of the building or into the ground.
