Vehicle crime around Gloucester up to 29th July

A car was entered in Myrtle Close in Robinswood overnight on 26th and 27th July.  Cash was stolen.

Cash and aftershave were taken from a car parked in Vicarage Road, Tredworth the same night.  Also  Brook Street in Tredworth was targeted where a wallet was taken.  The wallet contained cash, bank cards and a driving licence.  The cards were used in Asda that night.

Purse and cards were taken from a car parked in Barnwood Avenue also on the night of 26th and 27th July.  No damage was caused to the car and the cards were used in at a local Tesco store.

Bankcards were taken from a car parked in Tewkesbury Road, Longford on the night of 24th and 25th July.  The thieves were able to obtain £100 of goods with the cards before they were blocked by the bank.

Wheatstone Road, Tredworth was effected on the night of 28th and 29th where a USB memory stick was stolen.

A lap top computer and clothing have gone missing from a car parked on a drive in Trinity Road, Abbeymead the same night and finally, a car was entered in Cotteswold Road and a cap and sweets were stolen.  No forced entry was made to these vehicles.

Please check and make sure wallets, purses, handbags and other valuables are not left in vehicles overnight.  If cards are stolen they are a real bonus for the thief to use easily and quickly to obtain goods of all descriptions.
