This is a Neighbourhood Watch message from Chrissie Parkes
There have been a number of thefts from and thefts of motor vehicles right across the forest recently.
On the 14th of July, a van was stolen from outside a church in the Tutshill area. The owner was working in the church and had only left it ten minutes earlier.
A car was stolen from outside a property in the Ross Road area of Newent on the night of the 15th of July.
These are only the latest of a number of incidents. In most cases, the vehicles were left insecure.
Please be aware and ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables removed where possible.
