Thefts from Motor Vehicles up to 16th July


Overnight 7th 8th July two vehicles in Whitethorn Drive were entered via unknown means and searched through, Parking change was stolen. Inc. 398 & 411  08-07-2020 Prestbury

Overnight 8th 9th July a car in Leighton Road was entered by unknown means. Searched and a sat nav unit stolen. Inc. 157 09-07-2020  Fairview

Between 5pm & 11pm 9th July the catalytic converter was stolen from a Mercedes van parked and unattended in Enterprise Way, St Marks. Inc. 93  10-07-2020 St Marks

Overnight 9th 10th July a car in Devon Avenue was entered by unknown means and searched through. Stolen were Iphone head phones, a coat and a Gillet. Recording on CCTV doorbell of 2 males trying various vehicles parked on driveways. Inc. 95 10-07-2020. A second car was entered and searched through but nothing reported stolen. Inc. 103 10-07-2020. St Marks.

Overnight 9th 10th July, a car in Ballinode Close was entered by unknown means. Vehicle searched and an unsuccessful attempt made to start it. Stolen were some keys,  but the vehicle remained in place. Inc. 236 10-07-2020 Swindon Village

Between 6.50pm 9th & 9.15am 11th July a car in Well Place was entered by unknown means. Numerous items found and stolen including sunglasses, toiletries, and clothing including pairs of boots and jackets.
Inc. 162 11-07-2020  Town Centre.

Overnight of the 11th 12th July a car in Montpellier Spa Road was entered by unknown means and searched. Two car blankets and a large towel stolen. Inc 52 13-07-2020. Town Centre.

Overnight of the 12th 13th July a car in Gordon Road was entered by unknown means with all pockets etc. searched through. Nothing reported stolen at this time. Inc. 83  13-07-2020 Leckhampton

Recorded on CCTV at 3am 13th July a car in Gratton Road was entered and searched through with a hand bag being stolen containing make and a purse. The bag, minus the purse and make up, was found further along the road in a wheelie bin.  Inc. 166  13-07-2020 Tivoli.

Overnight 9th 10th July a car in Prince Regent Avenue was entered by unknown means and searched. Stolen were a pair of black Gucci sunglasses.
Inc. 336  13-07-2020 St Pauls.

10.45am 13th July, Moorend Park Road an insecure van containing power tools was entered with a petrol strimmer and a petrol blower both being stolen. A car was seen to speed away from the van with boot springing open as it went over a speed bump with a blower inside.
Inc. 78 14-07-2020  Leckhampton

Reported at 00.55am 15th July that a car in The Promenade had been attacked with windows being smashed by a brick. Vehicle searched through but nothing reported stolen. Inc. 19 15-7-2020 Town Centre.

Overnight 14th 15th July an insecure car in Victoria Place was entered and searched. Stolen was a wallet containing bank cards and cash. The wallet was found in a wheelie bin along the road. Inc. 262 15-07-2020 Fairview

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually secure.
Do not leave valuable property in unattended vehicles.
