Alert message sent 14/07/2020 12:17:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Two bikes were taken from a garage at a house in Lansdown Road overnight on 12th and 13th July.  It seems the garage door had been left unlocked.  One of the bikes was a black “Giant Revel” and the other was a white coloured “Orbea Sport 1065”.

A shed was entered in Hinton Road between 8pm and 11pm on 12th July but fortunately, nothing was stolen.  The shed door was damaged during the commission of this crime.

Please call 101 if you have any information regarding these crimes or saw or heard any unusual activity in the area. When you call please quote incident number shown above.  Alternatively report information on line at https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/soh/something-youve-seen-or-heard/

It is more likely that homes will now be left unoccupied as people try to catch up with family and missed holidays.  If you do go away overnight, please take steps to leave your home secure and give it the appearance of being occupied.

If you see or hear anything suspicious report it straight away to 101 or online and if you believe a crime is being committed then dial 999. You can also report information regarding criminal activity anonymously to Crime Stoppers by ringing 0800 555111.

Reminder

On Thursday 23rd July 2020, from 10am until 2pm, your Neighbourhood Watch and Crime Prevention Officers will be carrying out a FREE cycle security marking session at Hucclecote Police Station, Hucclecote Road, Gloucester GL3 3RT. The bikes will be registered on the National Cycle Data Base FREE of charge; you just need to have an email address and phone number.

This is the end of the message.
