Crime Update to 8th July

Overnight of the 2nd 3rd July a house in Adlards Walk Winchcombe was entered and searched with items being stolen. A hand bag was stolen from the bottom of the stairs, a rucksack from one room and a wallet and contents from a kitchen draw. Keys for a vehicle on the drive way which was then entered and searched through. A coat was stolen from either the kitchen or the car and a further two coats from a second car. The rucksack and handbag minus a purse were subsequently found in Barnmeadow Close. Still outstanding are the purse, bank cards, a driving licence, keys and paperwork. Inc. 85 03-07-2020

Reported at 11.50pm on 7th July that persons had been seen ‘snooping’ around a garage in Greenacre Way, Bishops Cleeve. When they realised that they had been seen they sped away in a black car. Inc. 570 07-07-2020

Overnight of the 30th June 1st July,  three insecure vehicles in Great Washbourne were entered and searched through, nothing reported stolen at this time. A secure vehicle was left untouched. Inc. 269 01-07-2020

Recorded on CCTV that at on 2nd July, a male was recorded entering two vehicles at Stanton Court. Males desc:- white, 5’10” wearing dark trousers and light top, white trainers and a hoody. A small amount of cash was stolen from one vehicle. Male left the area at 2.08am Inc. 508 03-07-2020

At 11.30pm on 7th July offenders were disturbed in the yard of a farm at Ripple in the process of stealing a double axle trailer. When challenged they left the scene in an old series 2/3 land rover. Damage subsequently found to the ignition of a John Deer Gator – unsuccessful attempt to steal the vehicle.

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually secure. Do not leave valuable property in unattended vehicles.
