Crime Update to 8th July

Reported that at 10.50pm on 1st July the occupant of a house in Avon Crescent, Brockworth became aware that someone was trying the front door handle from outside. A challenge was shouted and which resulted in the sound of feet running down the path. No entry gained and nothing stolen. Inc. 568 01-07-2020

Overnight of the 30th June 1st July, a van in Green lane, Little Witcomb was forcibly entered via the rear doors and searched. Stolen were a quantity of power and hand tools. Inc. 175 01-0702929

Between 3.30pm & 4pm 1st July a secure van on the driveway of a house in Benham Lane, Bentham was entered by ‘popping’ the back door. Stolen were electric drills, a leaf blower, grinder, sander etc. together with hand tools. Inc. 370 01-07-2020

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually secure.
Do not leave valuable property in unattended vehicles.
Lock boxes are available for all types of vans to secure tools and prevent thefts etc.
