Burglaries around Gloucester

Alert message sent 26/06/2020 11:14:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

A number of garages have been targeted around the city since last Friday with the following incidents reported:

Power tools were taken from an insecure garage in Reus Close, Abbeymead on the night of 20th and 21st June.  Some of the tools were recovered from nearby Vulcan Way.

The garage door of a house in Baytree Road, also in Abbeymead, was entered the same night but nothing was stolen

In Stroud Road near, Ribston Hall School, the garage of a house was entered on the same night. A grey road bike and a pink ladies road bike was stolen.  A lawn mover was also taken but was recovered in a neighbour’s garden.  Probably connected to this, is the sighting of a male riding a pink ladies bike while trying car doors at around 11.30pm in Linden Road and Carlton Road.

Finally, CCTV at a house in Goose Bay in Kingsway captures images of two males attempting to enter a garage and a car at around 1.50am on the morning of 23rd June.  Both men were dressed in black clothing and wore face masks.

Please call 101 if you have any information regarding these crimes or saw or heard any unusual activity in the area. Alternatively report information on line at https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/do-it-online/report-a-crime-or-provide-information-anonymously/report-a-crime-or-incident/
