Tools stolen

Alert message sent 12/06/2020 09:12:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

""

We are aware of vans and outbuildings being targeted for tools in your area. While we work to deal with the incidents here is some crime prevention advice to keep your property safe.

Remove all electrical tools from vans overnight. Make sure vans are locked if unattended and keys not left in the ignition. If possible leave in a well lit area. Mark your tools so you can identify them if they are stolen and found and take photos of them is possible. Keep serial numbers and any other identifying features.

Gardening tools are also being targetted. Please secure your sheds and outbuilding and also mark any machinery.
