Burglary in Apperley

Alert message sent 29/05/2020 14:58:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

A property in Gabb Lane in Apperley was entered sometime between 20th April and midday on 24th April.  The side door to the property was forced open using a tool found in the porch.  The property was searched but it appears that nothing was stolen.

Please call 101 if you have any information regarding this crime or saw or heard any unusual activity in the area. When you call please quote incident number shown above.  Alternatively report information on line at https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/do-it-online/report-a-crime-or-provide-information-anonymously/report-a-crime-or-incident/

Please remember to remove any tools or implements that could be used by an offender to force entry to your property.

Although the level of burglaries is lower than this time last year, we must not become complacent and should not be tempted to leave windows and doors open during this pleasant period of warm weather.  Please remain alert.

If you see or hear anything suspicious report it straight away to 101 or online and if you believe a crime is being committed then dial 999. You can also report information regarding criminal activity anonymously to Crime Stoppers by ringing 0800 555111.

This is the end of the message.
