Nottingham knockers

We are aware of an incidents of antisocial behaviour in your area. 

On 04/02/2026 we received reports of Nottingham Knockers In the Forest Of Dean Area. 

Police advise that you do not purchase anything from them and never hand over cash on your doorstep

If you feel threatened, close the door and call 999 

Report all incidents to the Police and firmly and politely refuse sales 

If they refuse to leave and become aggressive call 999

If you see them in your area, call the Police on 101 with a description and any associated vehicles. 

They may claim to be part of a rehabilitation scheme and could produce ID cards, these are entirely false and have no legal bearing.
